Verbal Accosting Can't Crush Pearled Clam

from 15.00

A couple mollusks unsuccessfully mock a freshwater clam for an ever-growing collection of calcium carbonate accumulating inside her mouth.

Largely unchanged on the surface, the shelled creature simply dismisses the derisive duo's remarks, reminding herself of the old bivalve adage: it's what's on the outside that counts.

fun fact:

This piece was part of my "What's In A Moleskine?" project, where I used the company name as a prompt for creating new pieces.

This prompt came from rearranging M-O-L-E-S-K-I-N-E to M-O-L-E-S-K (mollusk) and I-N-E (inny).
