Tiny Banana Crochets During Daily Commute

from 15.00

A pipsqueak fruit piece seizes the opportunity to cross-stitch her way through the weekday morning monotony.

Although mercilessly judged by everyone around her, she is ignorant to the dismissive looks, lost in each new loop and hook.

A LITTLE ABOUT THIS PIECE:

One winter day, I popped on a subway and saw a six year old girl knitting away, totally in her zone.
Every other person in the car was staring, mesmerized, and "Tiny Banana" was born.

Occasionally, Lovers of All Things Yarn feel compelled to tell me that the banana is not actually crocheting or cross stitching. It always cracks me up, this notion that someone suspending disbelief can accept that the banana has arms and is wearing a hat, but sees the word "crochet" and says 'now this is where I draw the line.'
